The Hand & Sceptre focuses on sustainability

As the UK commits to net zero carbon emissions by 2050, we’re following the lead by evaluating our carbon footprint and determining a strategy that covers the steps needed to limit our pub’s impact on Earth.

We’re passionate about our work and all we’ve achieved so far, but we’re not stopping any time soon. There’s more to think about and loads more to do, with small changes every day that we hope has a long-lasting effect on our gorgeous planet. Our parent company Mitchell’s & Butlers will keep making improvements and sustainable choices, so you can sit back, relax and catch up with friends for a long time to come.
